I’m a freelance photographer based right here in Sheffield, and dogs have always been my greatest passion — not just behind the lens, but in every part of my life. I show and breed Whippets, and have years of personal experience with many other breeds too. That deep, first‑hand understanding of dogs — their nature, their movement, and just what makes them special — goes into every photograph I take.

I was formerly an accredited photographer for Our Dogs, covering major shows including Crufts, Birmingham National, City of Birmingham, Belfast, and the Gundog Society of Wales. I now operate independently, bringing that same high standard, expertise, and genuine love for the show world straight to you.

• Dog Show Coverage — I’ve worked ringside across every level of the show circuit:

  • General all‑breed Championship Shows

  • Sub‑group Championship Shows

  • Special breed events — including Whippet of the Year and the 150th Anniversary Weekend for The Fox Terrier Club

 

I offer full‑day dedicated coverage, capturing main ring moments, Best in Show and all special award presentations. I am meticulous with my editing, ensuring every finished photograph is perfectly polished — print ready and beautifully prepared for sharing across social media too. I can incorporate your show’s branding with green screen technology, get finished digital images and prints ready for you the same day, set up a permanent online album so photos remain available long after the event, and can even arrange main ring live streaming if you’d like family and friends watching from home.

I know how important it is to blend in — working quietly and unobtrusively alongside judges, stewards, and exhibitors, so every precious moment is captured naturally, respectfully, and perfectly.

• Home Portraits & Outdoor Shoots — my favourite kind of sessions! Relaxed, happy photos of your dog exactly as they are, in places they love. I can meet you at a dog show, or we can choose beautiful spots local to Sheffield and across The Midlands. I am also happy to travel anywhere in the UK — travel costs are at the client’s expense.

 

• On‑Site Pop‑Up Studio — a dedicated space where your dog can shine. Whether to mark a fantastic win or simply because they look wonderful, I’ll create polished portraits you’ll be proud to display.
